Those of us on Wall Street, are a pretty arrogant lot. We often brag that we have the best, most powerful computers, most learned researchers, and skilled traders. At one former employer, we would brag that we hired only the best and brightest from the latest graduated of the Harvard Business School. And it was pretty much true.

And all this is put together for one reason: to anticipate what's likely to happen in the market. When you boil it all down, Wall Street's primary objective is to predict the next financial trends, and then design an investment program to take advantage of those trends.

And there are literal billions of dollars to be made, if you get it right. Predict the next wave in the economy, invest just right and your future is unlimited.
