With each ensuing financial crisis, we've become more and more accustom to relying on our Government. “Bail Out” is our mantra when times get bad.

In the past: we've had private industry bailed out, like when the car makers were bailed out in the 1980's. We had the banks bailed out several times, most recently in the Great Financial Recession of 2008 and 09. And now we have the entire economy being bailed out, by the aid package produced by the Federal Government. The cornerstone legislation being the CARES Act: The Corona Virus Aid, Relief And Economic Security Act.
