China and the Closing Supply Lines.

The Drama that is the Chinese Epidemic, continues to capture the headlines and imagination of this country. Increasingly the financial markets here in the US, are seeing the unfolding impact of this pandemic. First in terms of the suffering of the Chinese people. And then in terms of the radiating economic impact of the loss of Chinese supply lines around the world.

On Monday, Apple Computer was the first of the big tech companies to indicate that the closing of the Foxcomm, and other manufacturing plants will start to impact the sales of Apple iPhones and other products. Although Apple tried their best to downplay this announcement, even choosing to release it late in the evening on a Holiday. Markets have begun to take notice. And I expect that this will exert some pressure on share prices over the coming weeks.
