A New "FinTech" Company Is Set To Have The Biggest IPO In History.

So when I saw that the largest Initial Public Offering in history was about to take place, I thought I should sit up and take notice.

As we speak the finishing touches are being put on the IPO for the Ant Group, China's largest financial technology firm. When the Ant Group comes to market next Friday, it is estimated that they will have raised more than 35 billion dollars in capital, eclipsing last years record offering for Aramco, which raised 29 billion dollars.

This will value the Ant Group at about the same level as MasterCard, the half century old credit card here in the United States, which currently commands a market value of somewhere north of $300 billion.
